“Milorad Mandic Manda“ Award for Vlasta Velisavljevic

Rados Bajic and his “Contrast Studios“ production company, with the support of “Blic“ and digital media company “Ringier Axel Springer“, this year went to the oldest active Serbian actor, Vlastimir Vlasta Velisavljevic (93).
At the 54th Film Meetings in Nis, the legendary actor was presented with the award “Milorad Mandic Manda“ for the best accomplished comedic role in the entire film production in the past year. Velisavljević was awarded for the comic role of Sreten, made in the movie “Taxi Blues“, but also for the huge, immeasurable, long-standing contribution and trace he left in the comedy of Serbian film.
Actress Anastasia Anja Mandic, Manda’s wife, said the jury, which included Veselin Simonovic, executive editorial director of “EuroBlic” at Ringier Axel Springer and Aleksandar Avramovic on the behalf of“Contrast Studios“ production company, had a difficult task this year.
The first winner of this prestigious award in 2017 was Nikola Kojo, and last year the award went to Srdjan Zika Todorovic.
