Jelena Drakulić Petrović has been at the helm of the media company Ringier Serbia for 17 years, leading a team of 500 employees, with revenues exceeding € 30 million and a profit margin of 17% (as of 2024). Since she was appointed CEO in 2008, she has successfully managed the media business, which is recognized for its financial stability and growing profitability. With a clear vision and a strategy of synergy between print and online content, she introduced an integrated newsroom in 2010, continuing to modernize operations through the implementation of digitalization and technological development. From 2006 to 2008, she held the position of Publishing Director at Ringier, where she contributed to aligning operational management, developing strategies for existing titles, and creating new projects. As Marketing Director of Ringier d.o.o. in 2004, she played a key role in the successful expansion of the company’s portfolio, introducing brands such as Blic Žena, as well as in the acquisition of a printing house and the successful privatization of the weekly NIN. Since 2013, she has been the manager of the Blic Foundation, which supports the socially most vulnerable children. In 2014, on behalf of our media company, she was one of the founders of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, and in 2017, the initiator and one of the founders of the Digital Serbia Initiative, aimed at making Serbia a center of digital innovation in the region. To further develop the business, in 2022, she expanded the digital portfolio by establishing the Blic TV cable channel. She graduated in English language and literature from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade and holds a Harvard Business School Executive Education diploma.
