From June 1st, Vladimir Filipović, the Executive Editor of Sportal.rs, will assume the role of Editor-in-Chief of the portal, replacing Predrag Mihailović, who retains the position of General Director of Sportal.rs and takes on the international role of Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) at the parent company Ringier Sports Media Group (RSMG).

Sportal.rs was launched in May 2022 under the editorial and managerial leadership of Predrag Mihailović and quickly became the leading sports media platform in Serbia. After two years of operation, Sportal.rs is considered an essential factor in the Serbian sports industry, partnering with major organizations, federations, sports, and competitions. With over 3.6 million users and over 26 million page views monthly, Sportal.rs consistently tops the most visited sports media outlets.

Vladimir Filipović has been a editorial team member at Sportal.rs since its inception, starting his journalism career in 2013. Initially covering foreign policy and conducting dozens of interviews with various world and regional officials, he reported on the war in Syria before transitioning to sports through video production, which remains his passion. Since its founding, he has served as the Editor of Paid Content at Blic, Editor-in-Chief of Blic sport, and Executive Editor of Sportal.rs. Vladimir closely follows English football and Euroleague. He began his journalistic career at Blic in early 2014 and has been there ever since.
