Predrag Mihailović Appointed Editor-in-Chief of Blic, Marko Stjepanović Takes on New Role within Ringier Media’s Global Media Unit

Predrag Mihailović has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of Blic and will assume this role alongside his position as General Manager of Sportal Serbia, effective 16 March 2026. Marko Stjepanović, the current Editor-in-Chief of Blic and Editorial Director of its digital editions, will continue his career within Ringier Media as Head of Editorial Product & Audience Strategy, Global Media Unit.

Predrag Mihailović is a journalist, editor, and media manager with 23 years of experience at Ringier Serbia. Throughout his career at Blic, he has held a number of editorial and leadership positions, including Editor-in-Chief of the weekly Blic nedelje and Editor-in-Chief of the print edition of Blic, which he led from 2016 to 2022. Most recently, he served as Transformation Director of Ringier Sport Media Group, as well as General Manager of Sportal Serbia, where he was responsible for the development and transformation of the sports media brand. He will continue as General Manager of Sportal Serbia, with a focus on the further development of Ringier’s sports vertical.

Marko Stjepanović has been with the company for 28 years and is one of the key figures behind the development of Blic’s editorial and digital model. During his career, he has made a significant contribution to Blic’s transformation from a traditional print media outlet into a modern integrated newsroom operating on online-first principles. He has further expanded his professional experience through international projects and collaboration with teams across multiple Central and Eastern European markets. 

In his new role within Ringier Media’s Global Media Unit, based in Serbia, Stjepanović will lead international initiatives in editorial product development and audience strategy across Switzerland, Slovakia, Romania and Serbia. His focus will be on strengthening cross-market collaboration, supporting audience growth, advancing AI initiatives and the newsroom-of-the-future concept, and further enhancing editorial strategies across markets.
