For an incredible 154 consecutive months, spanning over 12 and a half years, Blic has remained the most visited Serbian portal, according to the latest official website traffic data for October 2024. Every day in October, nearly one million people in Serbia turned to Blic, with an average of exactly 994,815 daily users.
Since the inception of official Gemius research in Serbia over 12 years ago, no other portal but Blic has held the top spot. The readership figures are based on the most recent results from GemiusAudience, the official source for website traffic in Serbia, and are publicly available on their platform.
Blic: Serbia’s First Choice in October
In October, Blic attracted 3,352,368 unique users from Serbia, representing a staggering 70% of the country’s internet population. Its nearest competitor, Kurir, trailed behind by 165,792 users, followed by portals like Telegraf and Mondo.
Blic also dominated in daily traffic, with an average of 994,815 real users each day, far surpassing competitors. Additionally, Blic recorded 57.5 million visits in October, leading the competition by 6.1 million.
Blic News: Unrivaled Leadership
Blic’s News section remains the trusted source for reliable information, particularly during critical moments. In October, it was the most visited news section in Serbia, attracting 2,251,584 users—571,968 more than its closest competitor. That’s a number greater than the combined populations of Niš, Kragujevac, and Pančevo.
Blic Entertainment: A Clear Winner
For years, Blic’s Entertainment section has been the uncontested leader in its category. In October alone, it drew 2,018,976 users, 433,776 more than its closest rival. To put this into perspective, that’s more than the population of Novi Sad.
Blic Business: Leading the Way
Blic’s Business section also outperformed all competitors in October, attracting 1,899,120 users and solidifying its position as the go-to source for economic news from Serbia and beyond.
Žena.rs: The Leading Women’s and Lifestyle Portal
Portal Žena.rs continues its dominance in the women’s and lifestyle category. In October, it had the highest daily average audience, with 300,403 users compared to its main competitor’s 269,895. Žena.rs also led in total visits with 13 million, 1.5 million more than the second-ranked portal.
The platform was the most visited women’s portal on 20 out of 31 days in October, drawing 2,018,592 unique users and boasting 20,484,755 page views.
Meanwhile, its culinary subdomain, Superrecepti.rs, remains Serbia’s top cooking site, with 358,800 unique users monthly.
Sport = Sportal
In the sports category, Sportal.rs continued its dominance in October with 1,333,248 users—396,240 more than its closest competitor.
Beograd na Blic: The Top City Section
Blic’s city-focused section, Beograd na Blic, led in October with 876,720 unique users, outperforming its nearest competitor by 474,480 users. This section delivers essential news to Belgrade residents, from service updates to election coverage, along with unique stories and local insights.
PulsOnline: The Most-Read Entertainment Portal
PulsOnline.rs solidified its leadership in the independent entertainment portal category with 1,190,982 unique users in October. It ranked 17th overall among all Serbian websites.
Nekretnine.rs: Still the Market Leader
The specialized real estate portal Nekretnine.rs maintained its leadership in September, attracting 407,040 users and continuing its streak as the top site in its category.
