On the last Tuesday of October, at the Kolarac Endowment, organized by Blic Žena and the Žena portal, eleven remarkable women received the title “The Best Women”, joining a community of 170 awardees to date — a testament to the enormous power of women’s stories, strength, and solidarity.

The evening opened with a magical performance of “Fly Me to the Moon” by pop star Jelena Tomašević. Throughout the night, she returned to the stage three more times, enchanting the audience that filled the Kolarac Endowment to the very last seat.

Brave, authentic, persistent, and devoted — such are the women who received the title last night: Vesna Bondžić, president of the Women’s Center Milica; Marija Hudolin, entrepreneur and mother of four; Jelena Koen, master engineer born with a hearing impairment; Marija Ivanković, entrepreneur and designer; Dr. Tamara Lazić Strugar, dermatologist from New York; Sanja Lazukić, digital creator and photographer; Sanja Malagurski, former volleyball player; Biljana Ubović, table tennis player; and Emila Petrović, a 21-year-old nurse diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
