The documentary “The First Champion’s Balcony – From the Hell of War and Sanctions to the European Gold ’95”, produced by Sportal and directed by Goran Anđelković, had its European premiere at the 43rd International Sports Film Festival in Milan – one of the most prestigious events dedicated to sports stories from around the world.

After previously winning an award at the 14th Sports Film Festival in Zlatibor, Serbia, this emotional documentary has now been honored in Milan as well — proving that dedication, emotion, and journalistic passion are recognized everywhere.

The film was made to mark the 30th anniversary of the legendary victory and the European Basketball Championship title won in Athens in 1995, and it was received with powerful emotions by the audience in Italy as well.
