The Independent Journalists’ Association of Vojvodina (NDNV) has presented its annual awards to Novi Sad journalists who have raised professional standards to a higher level, fully dedicating themselves to protecting the public interest. Among the awardees was our colleague from Blic, Zlatko Čonkaš, head of the Novi Sad correspondent office.

“Given the extraordinary circumstances we are witnessing, we have decided to deviate from the Association’s tradition in awarding this year’s NDNV Annual Prize. Instead of announcing a competition for awards in multiple categories, the NDNV ‘plenum’ has decided to grant the Annual Prize to Novi Sad journalists who have raised professional standards to a higher level, fully dedicating themselves to protecting the public interest,” the association stated.
